Antenatal & Postnatal Fitness Workouts & Exercises are of course designed with great care, an emphasis is placed on maintaining a level of core Fitness that will allow you to regain your figure and “bounce” back just 15 weeks after giving birth.
Antenatal
Safely exercising through your pregnancy can have the following benefits:

- Stronger core and pelvic floor muscles to help support the weight of your baby

Obviously it’s not the time to start training for a marathon or even to try and improve your fitness levels whilst pregnant, however it is the ideal time to look after number 1 and make sure you’re in tip-top condition: Due to the fact there are some physically challenging times to come in the foreseeable future!
First your trainer will carry out a consultation which will involve a medical screening to obtain you current health status and pregnancy details. Once the all-clear has been given, we’ll then put together a program specifically designed for you the programme will focuses on stretching and strengthening key muscles and tailor the exercises to your fitness level and interests. Your program will be evolved as your pregnancy progresses and you will be closely monitored at all times.
Postnatal
For a woman one of the most spectacular things in life is having a baby, but nine months of pregnancy and the birthing process itself take a heavy toll on your body! Now day’s celebrity mums are looking amazing just weeks after giving birth, it’s not surprising that women are desperate to get their figure back following the birth of their baby. However, launching straight back into your pre-pregnancy exercise routine can be harmful to your health and even dangerous.
That’s why LCPT uses a series of postural and functional assessments specially designed for post-natal women. By combining specific techniques with correct nutritional habits, our clients achieve effective weight loss, core restoration and overall fitness.
We understand the time and financial constraints of childcare, so clients can bring their babies along to each session, regardless of location.
